Phil Nathan MBE
Chair of Trustees

Phil Nathan has over 40 years of experience in the financial houses of London and is currently a Director of Charles Stanley Stockbrokers. He is a leader in the Lions Club International and currently serves on the board of the Special Olympics GB.

Justine Powell

Justine Powell has over 15 years experience in the media industry across both the public sector and private sectors.  Justine is currently Vice President of Distribution, for CNBC, an American business news channel.

Richard Evans

Richard Evans worked for several years in education before moving to the international HIV/AIDS charity ACET. As well as serving as a charity trustee he is a member of numerous professional organisations and is CEO of an executive search and selection consultancy.

Amber Qureshi

Amber Qureshi is a full time Senior Dental Officer with the Department of Community Special Care Dentistry, King's College London Dental Institute. She is also an active supporter of Healthcare for London and the Mouth Cancer Foundation.

Ian Todd

Ian Todd is currently the Chief Executive of the Standards and Testing Agency for the Department for Education. He also worked as the Registrar for the Nursing and Midwifery Council. He spent 15 years in the NHS Ambulance Services and was one of the senior command team during the 7th July London transport bombings.

Tony Gadsby

Tony has worked in various positions at JCB, including the Managing Director for JCB Groundcare. He also is Chartered Engineer and a member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. Tony has worked voluntarily for Macmillan Cancer Support, the Lions Club and is a Non Executive Director for North Staff Combined NHS Trust.

Frances Hasler

Frances Hasler is currently Head of Stakeholder Strategy in the Healthwatch team at the Department of Health. As well as working in the Care Quality Commission, Frances has a BA (Hons) from the University of Sussex and has been a trustee for the Camelot Foundation and worked for the UK Grants Committee for Comic Relief.

Amanda Sater

Amanda Sater has worked across the public and private sector, including the Metropolitan Police Authority. As well as holding a variety of voluntary positions from school governor, a trustee for the British Lung Foundation to her present position as an Inner London Youth Court Magistrate.

Moira McQuaid

Moira McQuaid has worked in the Irish healthcare industry for much of her career. Moira worked on a project to create the first purpose build Paediatric hospice in Ireland. She is a member of numerous strategic healthcare societies and is also a board member for the Children's Sunshine Home and LauraLynn Paediatric Hospice and the Children's Sunshire Home Child Care Services in Dublin.

Gerald Langford

Gerald Langford is Executive Chairman of Wise Pension Trustees Limited. With a long career in financial services, he has worked as Managing Director and Group Managing Director. Gerald was founding secretary and a past president of the Irish Association of Pension Funds and is a fellow of the Irish Pensions Management Institute. He has also been an active Lions Club member since 1984 and is now the District Treasurer.

Mark Rawden
CEO

Mark Rawden joined MedicAlert as CEO in January 2011. Most recently he had been Operations Director for one of the UK’s largest animal welfare charities and his previous career included senior posts in both the commercial and non-profit sectors.

Tanya Butler
Commercial Director

Tanya Butler joined MedicAlert as Head of Strategic Marketing in August 2011, becoming the Commercial Director in June 2012. Most recently she had been EMEA Head of Product Marketing for the British Standards Institution and her previous career includes senior posts in marketing and portfolio management.
