AK Sports Band
From £25.95 £9.95
The fantastic 'AK Sports Band' was designed in conjunction with Anna Kennedy OBE and a very special young girl. This fashionable design works for all age ranges and is great for those with an active lifestyle, where a normal metal bracelet would be too impractical.
Anna Kennedy is the mother of two children on the autistic spectrum and is a well-known spokesperson and champion for parents of autistic children all over the UK. Frustrated with the lack of assistance available to her children, Anna co-founded The Hillingdon Manor School for children on the autistic spectrum. She has since written a book about her experiences, has appeared on 'The Peoples Strictly' and continues to campaign for the welfare of autistic children.
Our range of sports bands can be matched with most uniforms and are durable for even the most active of people. Its velcro fastener make our sports bands quick and easy to put on, as well as simple for those who have difficulty with metal clasps. Our sports bands are the only discs where no metal touches your skin. So if you lead an active life, or you’re allergic to metals our 'AK Sports Band' is the perfect disc choice.
Large strap size: 16 - 21cm
Our MedicAlert sports bands are designed to be adjustable to fit the wrist sizes indicated in the strap size. For additional guidance on getting the fit right for this product, please check our guide on how to measure your wrist.

I am a man who doesn't normally wear any jewellery, and when I purchased my first MedicAlert item some years ago I found a chain bracelet irritating, as well as a reminder of my condition. I ended up not wearing it, which obviously defeats the purpose. So having now had a further medical condition to consider, this time I went for one of these sports bands. I find that I completely forget that I am wearing it. Its velcro fastener is secure and the strap comfortable There is no rattling, and the design is quite fashionable I think!

The AK Band was named after myself and designed by a young woman called Alex. She was very proud that her design was made into a wristband since she has Epilepsy and autism. She wears this band with pride.
