Do you have a life-saving story to tell us?

MedicAlert® is currently running a Member's Stories campaign.

Would you like to tell us about your experiences wearing your Emblem and how they might be useful to help raise awareness of our life saving system? MedicAlert is now planning to undertake a concerted awareness drive amongst the general public to help ensure that everybody is aware of the benefits of MedicAlert® membership.

If you are interested in participating, please contact the Communications Department via phone, letter or e-mail to arrange a short telephone interview. We will use the notes made during the interview as the basis for writing a story based on your experiences and this would then be sent to you for your approval before being used in any publicity material.

How Can You Help?

There are many ways you can help MedicAlert® and as a Registered Charity, we are always extremely grateful for all of the support we receive. Outlined below is a list of suggested activities that may interest you and vary from giving a donation to joining the MedicAlert® Supporter Network. • Do you have any area of expertise that would be useful to MedicAlert®? For example, graphic design, commercial photography, marketing.
• With our close support and guidance, could you give talks about MedicAlert® to groups in your local community?
• Are you involved in any sponsored events? If so, would you consider MedicAlert® as the beneficiary?
• Would you consider holding a fundraising event?
• Would you like to come and help us in the office with administrative tasks?
• Would you like more information about leaving us a legacy?
• Could you distribute leaflets within your local community, i.e. local doctors, hospitals, dentists, support groups, pharmacies and libraries?
• Do you have friends or family who would benefit from MedicAlert® membership? If so, would you like us to send you some application forms to pass onto them?
• Would you like to give MedicAlert® a regular donation?
