The MedicAlert Foundation in partnership with Unique Insurance Services is delighted to announce the launch of a specialist insurance scheme designed for people living with medical conditions, disabilities and allergies and for their families, carers and supporters of MedicAlert.
From 5th January 2009 you will be able to purchase comprehensive and competitively priced travel, life, home, pension annuities, motor and pet insurance.
Chris Lunn, Head of Communications at MedicAlert says:-
‘We often get enquiries from Members asking for information on insurance services. We hope that many of our Members will benefit from being able to receive a Travel insurance policy through this initiative. People with medical conditions often face challenges when purchasing policies such as travel insurance. We are already aware of Members who have been able to receive a policy where previously they found difficulty doing so. This has enabled them to travel further afield to visit family and loved ones. This is a tremendous boost to their quality of life.'
