Our Sports/Kids Range is ideal for active people and children. These bands have a stainless steel disc attached to a latex-free nylon sports strap with a Velcro fastening. The sports bands are also adjustable to accommodate growing kids. We have a range of designs available including football, flower and khaki designs.
New "Rainbows and Vehicles Bands" Now Available!
Last year, as part of MedicAlert's 40th anniversary celebrations, we held an exciting "Design a Band Competition" where we asked our younger members to get creative and design their very own kids' band to complement MedicAlert's existing range.
After countless entries from some very talented little members we chose two winners, Daisy Hancox and Siobhan Koefman.
Daisy Hancox (far left) from Bow in Huddersfield won the boys category. Daisy is a MedicAlert Member and she has cochlear implants in both ears (bi-lateral), she has a complement deficiency, and is penicillin dependent. Her older sister Abigail, 12, helped Daisy create her vehicles theme boy's design.
Siobhan Koefman (near left) from Wokingham in Berkshire was the winner of the girl band design. Siobhan entered the competition as her nine year old sister Naomi (who has Diabetes Insipidus as well as Hypopituitarism), is a MedicAlert member. Siobhan's hearts and stars theme was the judge's clear favourite for the girl's band category.
