Saeed Jaffrey, OBE, met with Communications Manager Chris Lunn earlier this year to show his support for the charity's services. As one of the world's most acclaimed actors and also one of the friendliest, it is no surprise that his career has spanned generations with credits such as Richard Attenborough's "Gandhi" and "My Beautiful Launderette".
Saeed strongly supports the work of MedicAlert and believes that we provide a vital service to help people with diabetes manage their condition on a daily basis. Diabetes is a condition that runs in Saeed's family however it was not until he was in his late 40s that he was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Saeed had felt depressed and tired for some time so was relieved to learn of the diagnosis and is now passionate about encouraging others to be aware of it.
