Candy cane waffle stick recipe

Candy Cane Waffle Sticks

Prep 20 minutes | Serves 16

Ingredients:

  • Creative Nature Pancake & Waffle Mix
  • 100g Candy Canes (crushed)
  • White Chocolate
  • 200ml Plant Based Milk
  • 2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar

Method:

  1. Heat up your waffle iron and lightly grease to stop the batter from sticking.
  2. In a large mixing bowl empty the content of the baking mix and add the plant-based milk and apple cider vinegar. Mix until fully combined.
  3. Pour some of the mixture onto your waffle iron and cook for around 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Repeat this until you have used up all of the mixture. Allow the waffles to cool for around 10 minutes.
  4. Bring a saucepan of water to the boil and in a heat proof mixing bowl melt the white chocolate until smooth.
  5. Cut your waffles up in to long strips, you should be able to get x4 strips out of each waffle.
  6. Dip the waffle sticks about ¼ of the way and place on a baking tray and sprinkle some of the crushed candy canes on top of the white chocolate.
  7. Place in the fridge for around 15 minutes until the chocolate has hardened.
  8. ENJOY!
