We rely on kind donations to support our charitable aims, including sponsorship of vulnerable people in need of our service, as well as providing educational resources for medical and emergency professionals.
We do not receive any government funding to subsidise our charitable projects.
Your gift will help fund MedicAlert and its charitable programmes that provide memberships for people who might otherwise have to go without, such as people who are facing financial hardship or who are overwhelmed by the costs of managing their health condition or allergy.
Every donation, no matter the size, helps ensure that nobody is left unprotected because of cost, giving them safety, independence, and dignity this Christmas and beyond.

Our Goodwill project helps individuals experiencing financial difficulties, providing free or reduced-price membership and IDs.
We provide educational materials to support training across medical professionals, as well as schools, universities and other organisations.
As a charity, we rely on donations to ensure that the service remains best in class in order to fully support our members when they need us.
Completing the Gift Aid section within the donation form is easy and really important to MedicAlert.
Each donation you make will be boosted by 25% as it allows MedicAlert to claim back the basic rate tax on your contribution. This means that if you donate £10, we would be able to claim back a further £2.50 from HMRC increasing your original donation to £12.50! This will go a long way to helping more vulnerable people live with confidence.
Gift Aid is a government scheme that allows MedicAlert, as a charity, to claim an extra 25p for every £1 you donate - at no extra cost to you!
If you're a UK taxpayer, the tax you have already paid on your donation can be reclaimed by MedicAlert. That means a £10 donation becomes £12.50, making your support go even further.
You can add Gift Aid if you: ✅ Pay Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax in the UK ✅ Have paid at least as much tax as we will reclaim on your donation ✅ Provide your full name and home address when making your donation If you are unsure, check with your tax office or ask us for more information!
It’s simple! Just select “Yes, I want to Gift Aid my donation” when donating via our JustGiving page or cheque slip. You can also contact us by calling 01908 951045 or emailing info@medicalert.org.uk to update your preferences.
No forms needed! You just need to confirm that you are a UK taxpayer and we will do the rest.
If you stop paying enough tax, just let us know and we will update your record.
No - Gift Aid can only be claimed on donations, not membership fees. However, if you choose to donate alongside your renewal or at checkout, that donation can be Gift Aided.
