February, 2025: MedicAlert is proud to announce the renewal of its lifesaving partnership with Epilepsy Action, demonstrating the commitment of both charities to supporting the thousands of people in the UK living with epilepsy.

There are an estimated 50 million people around the world living with epilepsy. Epilepsy Action provides advice and support to these people and provides the answers and resources needed to help people with epilepsy feel more confident. They also support families and loved ones.

The renewal of the partnership between these two charities will allow more people to benefit from MedicAlert’s service and be supported in an emergency. Together, they will extend access to essential resources and provide reassurance to more people living with epilepsy.

The partnership provides 20% off MedicAlert IDs to Epilepsy Action members and furthermore, offers an additional 20% donation to Epilepsy Action with each purchase to continue supporting the community. Thousands more people in the UK could benefit from a MedicAlert ID and the services that it provides. This partnership will make this more accessible, allowing everyone to live confidently and not let their conditions hold them back.

MedicAlert CEO, Rob Burley, expressed his thoughts on the renewed partnership, “We are very excited to extend this partnership with such an important charity. Epilepsy Action provides support to so many people living with epilepsy, and we are proud that we can provide these people with peace of mind that their conditions are always communicated in an emergency, even when they can not communicate for themselves.”

The renewal of this partnership shows the commitment of both charities to creating a world where no medical condition or allergy limits a person’s confidence, dignity, independence or safety. The life-saving difference
