The Brompton Fountain is the only charity dedicated to supporting children's heart and lung care throughout London and the South East. They provide emotional support, essential equipment, and family resources to help young Members and their loved ones through treatment and recovery.
Because paediatric heart and lung conditions involve delicate care plans and precise medication requirements, rapid and accurate emergency information is vital. Through our partnership, eligible young Members receive a funded 2-year MedicAlert membership and a free initial Medical ID (with a £25.95 credit applied towards any style).

• The Brompton Fountain fully funds a 2-year MedicAlert membership and provides a first Medical ID for free (covering £25.95 towards any jewellery style chosen). This partnership is subsidised by MedicAlert to ensure charity funds stretch further to protect more young Members.
2. 24/7 Emergency ID & Record Protection
• Each Medical ID is engraved with essential medical details, a unique membership number, and our 24/7 Emergency Helpline. In an emergency, first responders and A&E medical staff can immediately access the child’s complete online record, including consultant guidelines, surgical background, and emergency contacts.
3. Peace of Mind for Families
• Managing complex paediatric conditions can place an emotional strain on parents and carers. MedicAlert bridges the gap between everyday life and emergency care, giving families the confidence to let their children explore, attend school, and grow safely.
