Changing Lives Together

15 February 2019

How would you like to have an impact on other people's lives, by sharing your story? Talking about your experience as a MedicAlert member in a short video might just do the trick.

MedicAlert aims to support people with medical conditions to feel independent and remain active and YOU can help us achieve this.

We would love for you to tell us about how your life has improved by joining MedicAlert and how it has allowed you to become or remain active.

Remember, there is no such thing as ‘too small an achievement’. There are so many people that may be facing challenges just like yourself. What you’ve already faced and conquered might be just what they need to hear! From trying a new sport or joining a community activity, to simply walking the dog or tending to your garden, each of these activities are sometimes taken for granted and you only realise that when you don't feel safe enough to do them.

We would love to share real stories to inspire others to gain confidence too!

Simply use your smartphone, tablet or video camera and capture yourself in a 1 minute video, talking about:
- Why is being active is important to you?
- What activities do you take part in?
- How does MedicAlert membership support you in that?
- Why do you love MedicAlert?

Don't worry about providing an Oscar worthy performance, or using a professional camera. All we expect is real people and real stories - your phone will be enough and we want you to be just... you!
