A New Home for MedicAlert

20 December 2019

“We are very excited to move into our new home in the beautiful Liscombe Park. It allows the whole team to work closer together, from our Registered Nurses to our Member Service team. We plan to be here for a long time and hope to be able to offer employment opportunities to people in the local area!” says Kirsten Giles, MedicAlert CEO

After being initially based in London and then in Milton Keynes for the last 7 years, our charity has moved into the beautiful Liscombe Park, just outside Leighton Buzzard.

MedicAlert has been providing assurance and life-saving support to its members since 1964. We are the original provider of medical ID services, the only one that hold your full medical record for emergencies. The custom-engraved jewellery alerts emergency and healthcare professionals to the wearer's vital medical information. Included on the engraving is a unique membership number and the 24/7 emergency helpline number, which provides quick and secure access members' full medical record in over 100 languages and dialects.

Susan Stone, a MedicAlert member, tells us: “MedicAlert allows me to try new things and be adventurous, secure in the knowledge that if something happens, anywhere in the world, I'll get the care I need. Having felt trapped and vulnerable by my disease, I now feel empowered and free! The peace of mind that I gained is priceless.”

Our new home in the beautiful Liscombe Park is purpose-built, perfect for our team. The new location allows us to provide the very best customer service for our members and reduce turnaround times where possible. We are looking forward to setteling in and we will continue keeping those with medical conditions safe from our new base in the Leighton Buzzard area.

The MedicAlert team wishes all of you a Happy Christmas and a wonderful New Year!
