Each member's record contains vital information, including medical conditions, allergies, history, medications, emergency contacts and scanned documents. Each record is carefully checked by one of our nurses when it is created and every time the information it holds is updated.

The record can be accessed from anywhere in the world, at any time, via our 24/7 emergency helpline. The vital information can then be provided in over 100 languages and dialects, verbally, by email or by fax, to assist those caring for the member.

As a MedicAlert member, you choose from over 60 styles of ID jewellery, to wear on your neck or wrist, as medical professionals are trained to check these pulse points. It is engraved with the internationally recognised MedicAlert symbol and your most vital medical information. It also shows our 24/7 emergency helpline number and your unique membership number. This allows emergency professionals to make accurate initial care decisions. As the main pointer to the record, it is jewellery designed to save lives.

A number of additional items are available, each helping to keep you safe. You will receive a wallet card which provides more detailed information including your conditions, allergies and medications, alongside your unique membership number and our emergency helpline number.
